Original "M43" Painting | 48” x 60”
Acrylic and Glass Beads on Canvas
Using the raw data from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), I created a scientific visualization of M43, a captivating region within the Orion Nebula complex. The beauty of the star-forming region inspired me to create this painting. With a bold and abstract approach, vibrant colors come to life on the canvas, revealing my curiosity and passion in connection to the subject. Through M43, I explore a captivating fusion of scientific exploration and artistic expression. The cool thing about this image as well, is that it traveled for 13.1 billion years before Webb’s mirrors captured it, which means that this is actually in the past.
