Limited Edition "Dissipate" Print | 10” x 13”

from $100.00

Silk Screen Print

Dissipate is a thought-provoking print that delves into the concept of time dilation and its potential impact on familiar objects, such as an hourglass. Inspired by Albert Einstein's theory of relativity, I contemplate the intriguing notion that as an atom approaches the speed of light, time slows down, potentially stopping altogether at that ultimate velocity. This raised questions such as: Does everything vanish? or does everything occur simultaneously?

Through this artwork, I challenge our understanding of time, a manmade construct used for organization and order. With a blend of curiosity and philosophical inquiry, Dissipate invites viewers to ponder the elusive nature of time and its implications. What if time is merely an illusion? Would the absence of time disrupt our sense of order, causing everything to happen all at once?
